PROJECT SUMMARY - WEST OF IRELAND
Procyon Oil & Gas carried out a concept assessment study to establish the potential for development of a gas condensate platform off the west coast of Ireland. Principle considerations included harsh environment, 1000 ft depth, possible requirement to fracture wells, high fluid pressures and temperatures, and shore tie-in options
The scope of the services provided includes:
- Setting production profiles with sub-surface group and their consultants
- Basic system definition and process simulation
- Pipeline steady state simulation
- Equipment sizing, facilities definition and cost estimation for a number of options including FPSO, TLP with FSO, subsea tieback to near-shore GBS
- Options screening and selection
- Specification and management of TLP concept definition and operability study by TLP fabricator consulting group (Floatec)
- Pipeline routing assessment and review of landing and tie-in options with onshore study company
- Comparison of pipeline and tanker offtake for liquids
- Definition, sizing and cost estimation of selected option (offshore and onshore)
- Project economics
- Reporting and presentations to Client’s board of directors.
